What are the benefits?
Chemical peels improve the skin’s clarity, tone, and texture; they help to stimulate new collagen and healthy skin cell growth; they help to reduce discolouration caused by sun damage; they reduce breakouts and smooth acne scars; they enable more effective penetration of skincare to reduce congestion and breakouts.
What is the downtime involved?
Treated skin will be red, tight, and mildly irritated for up to 7 days after your treatment. After a high strength chemical peel you may also experience some swelling, but this should subside within 48 hours.
What does aftercare involve?
Avoid makeup and skincare products for 24 hours post-treatment; avoid direct sun exposure after your treatment and use a medical grade SPF indefinitely; avoid any other skin treatments for 4 weeks after your treatment.
